fffffffffffffffffff................his wings made me curse up a storm.
HOW HE WAS MADE: pony base- Styling Star Catcher. Styling Star Catcher is a ginormous jumbo pony. For size reference, I threw in my old Yuna custom pony (made back in 2005) in one of the shots.
As far as design goes, I winged it. I looked at a reference, but he just wasn't pony-able. :~/ So I kind of improvised and used my own judgment of what kinds of pieces he should have, and whatnot....
So I started with a full body repaint. A base layer of pthalo blue, and a few coats of metallic paint. Two boxes of clay later, he's sculpted! I started with his hind-end, and let that section dry out. Then the next day I worked on the front end/head sculptings, and let that dry out. After he was a solid hunk of sculpted pony, I attacked his wings and let them dry out while I painted his body sculptings. I didn't use any designs or cut-outs for anything...(not that I ever do...) so I pretty much guessed on the sizes of everything....
He took about 6 days to make, methinks. I'm just happy he's not a leaning pile of epic failure....the fact that he's sturdy at all leaves me with a feeling of relief. XD (He's very sturdy indeed...he's already survived a car ride. )
It's simply amazing ^.^ I love the way you sculped it and it was a great idea to use a styling pony ! That makes him bigger and stronger, like in the game Your sculping work on the head makes him kinda "dangerous" looking ! The details are absolutely stunning too ! I love the shining paint too And those feet ! I don't want him to give a high-five, but I gotta say it's adorable ^_^ It's extremely difficult to sculp detailed paws and armor. Pony-bahamuts are pretty rare It's just really difficult, and I don't think most of us dare doing it. It's really challenging work (especially on a styling pony) I think it's worth your work, time and patience ! I'm looking forward to see more of your work ^_^
Coolest pony EVER!!!! Damn, is there anything you can't accomplish?! Once again your attention to detail is impeccable and that is quite a feat considering so many of Final Fantasy's characters have off-the-wall, colorful, and very awesome costumes, hair, etc. Here you've really outdone yourself on bringing all of FFX's Bahamut's colors and designs to this work and he is beyond awesome!
Her ass isn't in his chest. She's standing in front of him slightly to the right of his frontier. Her ass is located beside his shoulder/front right leg.

AWESOME. I didn't see this before! I think that the detail and whatnot really really shows your dedication (and awesomeness!). One critique tho is on the size of the pic, kinda hard to see the pony properly! For me anyway. When you don't click on it you can't see the details, but when you click on it it's so big it's still hard to see details, cuz it's so colorful.
